Nandini P. Nair-Thomas is the managing member of Nair & Associates, LLC, a law firm practicing exclusively in the area of US Immigration and Nationality law. The firm represents business and corporate clients in all matters of employment-based immigration.

Ms. Nair-Thomas was born in Kerala, India and became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1996, thus she has experienced first hand all phases of immigration and naturalization.

Ms. Nair-Thomas graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Political Science, Journalism and Socio-Legal Studies and from Albany Law School with a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1996. She also received a Masters degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Schiller International University in London, United Kingdom.

Ms. Nair-Thomas began working in the field of immigration law while clerking at a downtown New York City law firm. She later became full associate at the firm after the completion of her Master's Degree in International Relations. From there Ms. Nair-Thomas moved to the number one immigration firm in the United States where she managed their downtown NYC sub-office.

Ms. Nair-Thomas began her practice with the sole intent of providing one-to-one service to all of her clients and adheres to the fundamental yet critical business philosophy of total customer satisfaction. She anticipates the needs of corporate clients, and seamlessly adapts services and support to the client's evolving business. Her interest in immigration law stems from her personal background, having emigrated from India to the United States, from her belief in the essential role immigrants play and the positive contributions they make to American society, and from her desire to help people of all backgrounds achieve their goals.

Ms. Nair-Thomas is admitted in the New York Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Department; U.S. Southern Federal District Court of New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association; the American Bar Association; the New York State Bar Association; and the Women's Bar Association of New York. She was also a weekly columnist for Express Computer, Part of India Express, India and a monthly columnist for the Marthrubhumbi, Kerala, India.
